Seminar and the Signing of an MoU with Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning with West Java of HATHI


Seminars have been held with the theme "Challenges and Opportunities in Water Resources Management infrastructure inthe future" and the signing of the MoU on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Auditorium Room of Depok Campus.Rector of Gunadarma of Gunadarma University Prof.Margianti ES, SE., MM gave a speech while opening the seminar, followed by keynote speakerDr. Ir. Mochammad Amron, MSc - Director General of Water Resources Ministry of Public Works.

Before the event started to do signing of the MoU between theFaculty of Civil Engineering and Planning Gunadarma University with  West Java of HATHI.

The event continued with a seminar that presents three speakers:

1. Dr. FX Suryadi, MSc - Senior Lecture, UNESCO-IHF, Delft,Netherlands

2. Ir. January T. L. Yep, MSc - CK-Net INA

3. Dr. Iwan Kridasantausa - Hydraulic Engineers Association of Indonesia (Hathi)

and moderated by Dr. Heri Suprapto.

The seminar was attended by intansi agencies who have been invited, students and lectures of the Faculty Civil Engineering Department University Gunadarma.

This seminar aims to open up insights into the development of water resources in Indonesia.

According to Drs. Amron Mochammad MSc, Indonesia is the best country in the management of infrastructure systems management of water resources in Southeast Asia. This potential should be further developed by the younger generation to maintain the availability and use of water balance for the survival of the people of Indonesia.
