Project description

Objectives: To enhance the attractiveness of master programmes related to the fields of Computer Vision and Robotics

in Europe for Asian Students.

Main activities:

- The consortium submitting this application, proposes to act on two activities (Work Packages) which are:

- WP1: realize in Europe a broad and general survey to identify masters in the field of Computer Vision and

Robotics. Identify all relevant information (fees, registration procedure, language, job opportunities…) which

would benefit to Asian students willing to apply to such programme.

- WP2: realize a Survey on Quality Assurance procedures existing in Europe regarding Asian students hosting

(accommodation pack, visa procedures, resident card, international house, tutoring and feedback from the

students…).

Expected outputs:

- WP1: Master courses all over Europe related to the field of Computer Vision and/or Robotics will be identified. A

web tool (web portal + job offers) which will enable the students to browse, navigate and obtain all the relevant

information regarding a course (one or two year master, fees, languages, housing facility, existing mobility,

registration procedures, job opportunities…) will be realized. The content of the web site will also be published

on paper format and CDs for dissemination/

- WP2: A quality handbook which will include the best practices encountered all over Europe in term of Asian

students hosting will be published and an international seminar on the topic of Quality Assurance for "third

country students hosting" will be organized.

Results will be disseminated by means of publications (conferences, seminar) as well as specific international

dissemination actions in Asia (international fairs).
