Seminar on Health and Reproduction: Problems of Reproduction Health

Midwifery Program study of Gunadarma University conducted Seminar on Health and Reproduction: Problems of Reproduction Health . The Seminar held on Friday, November, 28 2014 in the Auditorium Campus D Depok. The seminar was opened by the Director Diploma Program of Midwifery Gunadarma, Prof. Dr. Johan Harlan and present, Dr. Wahyu Raharjo, SPsi, Msi. also dr. Arieta Pusponegoro, SpOG (K) as keynote speaker with moderator were dr. Matrissya Hermita Msi and Arini Kusmintarti, M.Kes. The seminar was attended by the lecturer, staffs, and students of Midwifery and other majors.

The purpose of the Seminar on Health and Reproduction is to expect to be a useful activity to add insight and knowledge for all students and the entire academic community of Diploma in Midwifery Studies Program at Gunadarma University in understanding the competencies and knowledge that should be possessed about Reproduction Health.

Dr. Wahyu Raharjo, SPsi, Msi. discussed the Introduction to Risk Sexual Behavior. Factors related to sex for reviews of his research are growth spurt, hormones and sexuality, premarital sexual behavior, risky sexual behavior, sexual intercourse early age, with whom sex was first carried out, the main reason to have sex the first time, the number of sex partners, sex with strangers, why engage unsafe sexual behavior and what to do to follow up the effects of risky sex.

The next speaker was dr. Adrianti Pusponegoro, SpOG (K) who discussed the anatomy of the reproductive organs of men and women, the changes that occur when puberty, body hygiene and reproductive organs, sexual harassment and abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, reproductive health as well as the special circumstances of sexually transmitted infections.

The seminar ended with question and answer session followed by giving of souvenirs to the speakers and the distribution of certificates to the participants of the seminar by the committee.
