Thesis Defence of Doctoral in Economy : Sri Setya Handayani and Lina Kusrina


Doctoral Program Gunadarma University Conducted Doctoral thesis defense in Economy on October  102014 in the Auditorium of the University Campus D Gunadarma Jl. Margonda raya, pondok cina Depok.

The first session is filled by doctoral candidate Sri Setya Handayani  with titled The Influence of Motivating Franchisee Brand Name and Qality Management to the Relationship Quality Between Franchisor and Franchisee and Its Implication on the Perpormance Satisfaction Cooperation and Loyalty of Franchisee.

Candidate Sri Setya Handayani  promoted by Prof. Dr. Basu Swastha Dh., MBA with co-promoter Toto Sugiharto, Ir., MSc., PhD.

The results showed that franchisors’ brand name and quality management affect the quality of the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee. Meanwhile, the quality of the relationship between franchisor and franchisee affect performance, satisfaction, cooperation, and loyalty of franchisees. Accordingly, it can be concluded that franchisors’ brand names and quality management indirectly affect—through the quality of the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee—performance, satisfaction, cooperation, and loyalty of franchisee.

Second chance given to candidates  doctorate Lina Kusrina with her dissertation Against Effects of Fiscal Decentralization and Economic Growth in Regional Income Convergence, found that the effect of fiscal decentralization on economic growth.  Special allocation fund (DAK) affect economic growth, while the general allocation fund (DAU) and revenue-sharing (DBH) reduce economic growth in all regions. In particular, the general allocation fund (DAU) increase parent pertumhuban regional economy, but lowering the economic growth of new autonomous regions (DOB). The coefficient of per capita income is likely to increase revenues indicates that there are divergences between regions.

This second doctoral candidate promoted by Prof. Dr. Nopirin with co-pomoter Dr.rer. Pol. Sudaryanto, Ir., MSc.

Based on the results of Sri Setya Handayani senate candidates passed with honors and Lina Kusrina candidates passed with Cum Laude.
