On 14th July 2012, Doctoral program Gunadarma University proudly present the 52nd and 53rd doctoral thesis defence in Economy at auditorium of Gunadarma University, Campus D, Margonda Raya Street, Pondok Cina, Depok. As the first candidat, Syntha Noviyana presented her thesis dissertation with title "Motivation, Intention, and Perception to Select Public Accountant Profession". The advisors committee are Prof. Dr. Nopirin, MA., as a Promotor and Prof. Dr. Rr. Dharma Tintri, SE., Akt., MBA., as a Co-Promotor, and as external examiner is Prof. Dr. Slamet Sugiri, MBA., C.M.A, Akt.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the motivation's influence of career, quality, economy, achievement, and social on intentions of students to continue study at Accounting Profession Program; to analyze the direct and indirect influence of career motivation, quality, economy, achievement, and social through the intention to continue study at Accounting Profession Program on the selection of Public Accountant; and to analyze moderation between the perceptions of benefit and constrains public accounting profession with the influence of intention to continue study at Accounting Profession Program on the selection of Public Accountant
The results showed that quality motivation, achievement motivation, and social motivation influence on the intention of students to continue study at Accounting Profession Program. The motivation of quality, economic, achievement, and social have direct and indirect influence through intention to continue study at Accounting Profession Program on the selection of Public Accountant. Perceptions of the benefits and constraint of public accounting profession moderated the influence of intention to continue study at Accounting Profession Program on selection of public accountant.
The second candidate is Maulana with Prof. Dr. Kartawan, SE., MP. as The Promotor, Dr. Adi Kuswanto, MBA. as CoPromotor, and Dr. Dedi Kusmayadi, as a external examiner. He defended his thesis dissertation with title "Interaction Effect Between Performance and The Spirituality Toward Collectability of The Credit Partnership Programe Pertamina Co. Ltd region II South of Sumatera".
The objective of the research is to analysis: 1) The effect of simultaneously or partially; character, capacity, economic conditions, capital, collateral on Performance of Partnership Programs Pertamina Co.Ltd Region II South of Sumatera, 2) directly effect performance on Collectability Partnership Program. Pertamina Co.Ltd Region II South of Sumatera, 3) interactive effect of performance and spiritual on collect ability Partnership Program Pertamina Co.Ltd Region II South of Sumatera.
Data is selected using simple random sampling. The analysis units for responses of 250 partner of the Partnership Program Pertamina Co.LTd Region II South of Sumatera. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Analysis tool used is the path analysis
The study results are as follows: 1) The dimension of 5C; character, capacity, condition of economic, capital, collateral, simultaneously and partially have significant effect on Business Performance Partnership Program Pertamina Co.Ltd Region II South of Sumatera; 2) Directly Performance have no influence on collect ability Partnership Program. Pertamina co.ltd Region II South of Sumatera; 3) performance and spirituality have an interactive effect on collect ability partnership program Pertamina Co.Ltd Region II South of Sumatera.
