The 4ICU Ranking institutions  (www.4icu.org), known as the World Universities Ranking Web has published a ranking of universities in the world on July 6, 2011. In this edition UG is still the best private universities in Indonesia that are in the 5 position National Rank after 4 other PTN.

In the July 2011 edition, the number of universities in Indonesia are evaluated are 154 Universities, the number of participants increased compared to  January 2011 edition, which recorded 151 PT. Gunadarma University is  still in 5 position for  3 periods sequent. IPB is a newcomer in the top ten, directly on the 4th position, or shift the ITS, which fell to 7th position. Top Ten list of college rankings for July 2011 in the National Rank and Word Rank can be seen as follows.

2. Universitas Gadjah Mada (Word Rank: 123 )
3. Universitas Indonesia (Word Rank: 559)
4. Institut Pertanian Bogor (Word Rank: 811)
5. Universitas Gunadarma (Word Rank: 1144)
6. Universitas Diponegoro (Word Rank: 1216)
7. Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Word Rank: 1507 )
8. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Word Rank: 1510)
9. Universitas Sebelas Maret (Word Rank: 1780)
10. Universitas Sumatera Utara (Word Rank: 2084)

There are 10.200  Universities in 200 countries were evaluated based on three criteria: Google PageRank, Yahoo inbound links, and the Alexa traffic ranking rank. The Result released each semester, ie in January and July.
