Generally the student affairs activities facilitate interest and student and student potentialities in their self-development, capacity and talent, art and sport, and social service. The student activities are fully supported by student affairs department which is apt to university policy and guideline. The quality student activities do not often generate student achievement in a national and international scale. For example World Champion on computer assembly, national champion on choir, overclocking and programming champion, robot contest, stock exchange contest champion are examples of student achievements which are started from their participation n student activity unit (UKM). Several sport activity units in Gunadarma University are chess, bridge, football, futsal, soft-ball, volleyball, table tennis, taekwondo, karate, traditional Indonesia martial art (silat), et cetera.

Gunadarma also has art student activity units like choir, theater, and photography and science activity groups like Linux study club, web-development, robot, syariah economics, and literature. The students’ affairs and the units have facilities in the campus. Students’ affairs activities related to social service are held in a routine and sustainable way. The activities are social working, blood-donor, volunteering for helping disaster victims, poor people, develop and apply feasible technology or developing settlement and villages. These local and national activities are done by working together with other organizations.
