Workshop, Seminar and MoU of Information Technology Aided In Civil Engineering Practice Present - Future
Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Civil and Planning Engineering Gunadarma University held a Workshop, Seminar and MoU with the theme of Information Technology Aided In Civil Engineering Practice Present - Future which held from 7 to 8 March, 2016.
The aim of this seminar and the workshop was to provide knowledge for faculty and students on the use of information technology in the application of civil engineering works.
Workshop held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Campus F, Gunadarma University by Dr. Suryadi from UNESCO-IHE, Delft, Netherlands with hydrological modeling application program to students in Civil Engineering. Followed the next day on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 is the seminar and MoU between PT. Exsol Innovindo - Topcon and Gunadarma University.

Seminar and signing MoU about resource development in the field of surveying and mapping was officially opened by the Rector of Gunadarma University, Prof. Dr. E. S. Margianti, SE., MM.
The seminar's first session started and moderated by Nahdalina, ST., MT. as Secretary Graduate Program in Civil Engineering and first speaker was Dr. Suryadi from UNESCO-IHE, Delft, Netherlands who discussed about Information Technology: Past-Present-Future and Modelling and then, second speaker was Mr. Stenley Sumantri from PT. Exsol Innovindo - Topcon who talked about monitoring systems that must be followed in the development process in order to avoid damage that may occur.
Seminar speaker of next session by Ir. H Herman Hidayat, MT. as an expert staff from Walikota Depok who discussed about the use of Information Technology in Civil Engineering in order to solve some of the urban problems in the city of Depok, then followed by Budi Santosa as next speaker from Gunadarma University who talked about the entropy of information theory approach in the field of hydrology and water resources.
